When I first heard the word gamification I thought it meant creating gaming apps. Having been ediucated about the idea by a respected partner of ours (Play Consult) the term has taken on a whole new meaning.
Gamification is a concept by which a mobile app can be created to add a competitive advantage to it’s success potential. The competitive advantage is the idea that by adding some form of competition to the app, you can engage customers more intensively by changing behaviour to be more connected with the app itself. It’s a fairly simple concept, but it works.
